Overview
Gear affixes are the rolled bonuses that turn a base item into a build piece. They cover offense, defense, item utility, ability scores, and the elemental damage / resistance / weakness systems. This page is a quick index of every affix in the game, grouped by category. Click any category heading for the full mechanics, scaling formulas, and rarity rolls.
Twelve affixes that roll on weapons and change how attacks feel or hit.
- Crit Chance : chance for each hit to critically strike.
- Crit Damage : how much bonus damage a critical strike does.
- Attack Speed : how fast you swing the weapon.
- Deep Wounds : applies a bleed DOT on hit.
- Crushing Blow : bonus damage based on the target’s current HP.
- Backstab : bonus damage when the target isn’t facing you.
- Precision : ignores part of the target’s armor.
- Life Leech : heal a percentage of damage dealt.
- Mana Leech : restore a percentage of damage dealt as mana.
- Vicious Mockery : debuff on target, amplifies all incoming damage to them.
- Hex : one-shot curse on target, consumed by the next hit for bonus damage.
- Rally : on kill, nearby allies receive a temporary damage bonus.
Six armor and shield affixes that reduce damage, dodge attacks, shorten debuffs, or punish attackers.
- Absorption : redirect incoming damage into your mana pool.
- Evasion : chance to fully dodge melee attacks.
- Resilience : debuffs on you tick down faster.
- Thorns : reflect flat damage back to melee attackers.
- Block Proficiency : reduced stamina cost when blocking hits.
- Gallant : debuff the attacker’s outgoing damage when they strike you.
Nine tool and gear affixes that change what an item can do.
Durability protection (tools, weapons, armor):
- Indestructible : item never loses durability.
- Fortified : percent chance to skip durability loss on use.
Mining utility (tools only):
- Haste : mines faster.
- Telekinesis : nearby drops teleport to your inventory.
Block shape (tools only, mutually exclusive):
- Quake : 3x3 flat area.
- Delve : 1x5 line into the block face.
- Rend : vertical strip.
- Fissure : horizontal strip perpendicular to aim.
- Resonance : vein miner for same-type blocks.
Three affixes that change how you move, breathe, and recover between encounters.
- Focused Mind : boosted mana regeneration while standing still.
- Water Breathing : greatly increased breath capacity underwater.
- Lightweight : reduced stamina cost while sprinting.
Flat elemental damage added on top of every weapon hit. Stacks with each other, scales with Intelligence.
- Fire Damage : flat fire damage per hit.
- Frost Damage : flat frost damage per hit.
- Poison Damage : flat poison damage per hit.
- Void Damage : flat void damage per hit.
Chance-on-hit DOTs that tick elemental damage over several seconds. Wisdom scales proc chance, Intelligence scales tick damage.
- Ignite : fire damage over time.
- Cold : frost damage over time.
- Infect : poison damage over time.
- Corrupt : void damage over time.
Armor and shield affixes that reduce incoming damage of a matching element. Independent per element.
- Fire Resistance : reduces fire damage (including lava and Ignite ticks).
- Frost Resistance : reduces frost damage (including Cold ticks).
- Poison Resistance : reduces poison damage (including Infect ticks).
- Void Resistance : reduces void damage (including Corrupt ticks).
Short-lived debuffs applied by weapon hits that amplify all matching-element damage on the target while active.
- Fire Weakness : target takes more fire damage from any source.
- Frost Weakness : target takes more frost damage from any source.
- Poison Weakness : target takes more poison damage from any source.
- Void Weakness : target takes more void damage from any source.
Six flat ability-score bonuses. Stacks across pieces; feeds every stat-scaled system.
- +STR : Strength.
